What will happen on ‘North Tyneside Unplugged’ day?
It will be a day where schools and their families pledge to put down their devices and step away from the screens. Plan lessons without projectors and whiteboards, iPads put away, PCs shut down. Families promising they too will have a day without screens, in particular, device free mealtimes, phones away at the school gate, perhaps books and board games instead of TV and consoles after school, and charging devices downstairs, away from the bedside.
